Yes, absolutely. Interviewing your potential assistant is part of the hiring process.
Once we’ve found a candidate to be your executive assistant, you’ll be able to evaluate them in two stages:
- During our initial call with you, we’ll set a schedule for you to interview them online.
- We’ll send you an email so you can assess their profile
- You hop on Google Meet and interview them
After we find a candidate, we’ll send you an email with their profile. This email will include:
- The candidate’s resume
- Information about them relevant to any specifics requirements you listed
- Relevant work samples
- A brief summary of why we’re recommending them
Call
Next, you’ll have the opportunity to interview the candidate through the scheduled call.
The call is largely unstructured, though a member of our business development team will be on the call to help facilitate it and answer relevant questions.
After the call, tell us whether you’d like to proceed with the candidate or not. (If you’re satisfied with them, you can tell us during the call as well.)
Accepting a Candidate
If you approve of the candidate, we’ll take the necessary steps to get them started.
Before the assistant starts working, Magic will confirm the following with you:
- The assistant’s start date
- The schedule for their onboarding call
- The assistant’s hourly rate
Rejecting a Candidate
If you decide the candidate is not right for you, tell us at any time. Magic will learn from your feedback and look for a new assistant candidate based on it.
